Softball Saskatchewan is offering an incredible opportunity for coaches and aspiring instructors with our Pitching Instructor - Beginner Clinic. This clinic is ideal for those eager to expand their knowledge of pitching or become a certified Regional Pitching Instructor in Saskatchewan!
Regional Pitching Instructor Role
Softball Saskatchewan is currently seeking qualified applicants to join our team of Regional Pitching Instructors. As an RPI, you’ll lead local training sessions, mentor pitching coaches, and contribute to our National Canpitch Program, bringing top-notch pitching instruction to regions across Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the regional pitching expert
- Deliver Canpitch’s 5-week program for players (ages 6-12) and coaches
- Support, communicate with, and provide feedback to Softball Saskatchewan
- Promote Canpitch locally
Qualifications:
- Criminal Records Check & Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Valid Driver’s License
- Prior pitching experience; coaching experience is a plus
Commitment & Compensation:
- Minimum of 2 years as an RPI
- Hourly compensation and coverage of expenses (mileage, meals, accommodation)
