Sport Medicine and Science Winter Training Program


We would like to invite you to join our next phase of the Winter Training Program which is again Free to our members.  We are putting together a video program to increase your physical strength over the winter. We believe by providing you with this program you will be able to improve your softball skills over the winter without spending a lot of money or time travelling to workout.  It’s great for our multi-sport athletes.

Ignite Athletics has created another 2-3 day/week strength program for 6-8 weeks.  Only those 12 years old and older (youngest would be born in 2010) will be allowed to register for this.  This program will focus on teaching body control, mobility, shoulder health, and strength, with a strong emphasis on using a combination of your own body weight and resistance bands. There are core foundations of movement that everyone should possess.  This program will aim to introduce and improve these foundational skills. Each player will get access to Teambuildr to log their weights and have access to the video’s.

A orientation zoom session will take place February 15th at 7:00PM. 

Equipment recommended for use in this program: 

1 - Red Superband

1 - Medium and/or 1 Heave Ankle Band
